Golf Ile des Soeurs in Montreal strengthens its green management reputation and commitment with the use of 37 SolarDrive equipped golf cars.

SolarDrive is very proud to be part of an ecological initiative on ground formerly used as a dumpsite. Golf Ile des Soeurs has 37 beautifully equipped SolarDrive S2E Club Car, Inc. Precedent electric golf cars.

Golf Ile des Soeurs is a nine hole, ecological course built on environmentally reclaimed land on the southern tip of Nuns’ Island in the St. Lawrence River (part of the borough of Verdun).
This nine-hole course is located just five minutes from downtown Montreal and is now surrounded by natural wilderness, and a part of a spectacular ecological sanctuary with a spectacular view of downtown Montréal.

Designed by course architect Darrell Huxham. Huxham worked in conjunction with Island Golf Group, the organization that started the project before it was taken up by the current promoter, Pierre Emond, a resident of Nun’s Island. Golf Ile des Soeurs is dedicated to green management practices.

Installation of the fleet was performed by Equipement Pierre Champigny of Acton Vale, Quebec
